Oh, hi.

Welcome to extraextrastyle, a place for big & tall guys like me to celebrate their love for fashion - and themselves.

Wait, This Really Works

Wait, This Really Works

Sulwhasoo is a high-end Korean skin care brand that I’ve never once been able to spell correctly on the first try. I’ve tried a few things I’ve liked from them in the past (the Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream EX is an excellent moisturizer!), though.

My friend gave me their Radiance Energy Mask a few months ago. First, I thanked them for their generosity. Then, I shoved it to the back of my skincare cabinet. Another mask? Who needs it? (Not me, apparently). Big mistake. Huge.

I recently pulled it out and gave it a try. There two things you need to know:

  1. It’s actually a sleeping mask. If you’re not familiar with a sleeping mask, it’s, well, a moisturizer. You wash your face, put it on, and go to bed.

  2. IT WORKS. Let me say this again: IT WORKS.

I woke up the next morning with radiant skin. My pores looked smaller, my face was luminous, I wasn’t greasy or irritated. The key ingredient is jade, which seems fancy (which I like).

I’ve added this to my skincare rotation (I use it once or twice a week) and, more importantly, I’ve added it to my shortlist of products that truly, seriously work:

  1. Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 1970

  2. Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream

  3. Dior Capture Totale Multi-Perfection Eye Treatment

  4. Cle de Peau Concealer

Have you tried Sulwhasoo?
