Very Ralph: My Favorite Big & Tall Looks from Ralph Lauren
I tuned in to the Very Ralph documentary on HBO yesterday. It’s not exactly the most hard-hitting look at Ralph Lauren, but it is full of visual inspiration. One of the things I’ve always liked about Ralph Lauren is their embrace of big & tall customers - they not only sell extended sizes at places such as DXL but also directly on their own site. Inspired by the movie, below are my favorite Ralph Lauren big & tall pieces available now.
The Iconic Flag Sweater - This sweater is iconic (it even says so in the name) and now it’s 30% off with code “Holiday”. It’s available up to size 6X, and if you only own one piece of RL, this should be it. Bonus: this sweater is made in the US.
Stretch Classic Fit Camo Pant - I’ve been camo pant curious for a few months (I’ve been trying to break up the denim monopoly in my wardrobe) and I feel like these are surprisingly versatile. Yes they’re statement, but they’re also totally norms. Styled just like above is great, but I can also imagine these with a sweater and a blue blazer for a more unexpected combo. They’re in my cart now.
Classic Fit Cotton Mesh Shirt - Is it a button down or is it a polo shirt? Yes. I wouldn’t wear it as tight as the model does, but I would wear it.
Cable-Knit Cotton Sweater - I have worn the F out of this sweater this fall, and you should too. It’s not too thin, but it’s not too warm. It’s magic, Goldilocks.
Southwestern Half-Zip Pullover - I’m not normally much of a Southwestern guy, but something about this pullover is calling me (maybe it’s the brighter than usual color palette?). I’m ready to channel my inner Georgia O’Keeffe.
