A Plain Hat Is the Fashion Accessory You Didn't Know You Needed
I know you’ll find this shocking, but I have never been much of a sports fan. Because of that, I always felt like a poser if I wore a baseball hat. “How about the Sox this season?!” Uhhhhhhh I have no idea. Then I discovered the plain baseball cap. A whole new sartorial world opened to me. I felt rich. I felt powerful. I felt like I had a way to cover up a bad hair day.
But, mostly, I felt I needed to share my picks for the best plain baseball caps with you. In no particular order:
I came for the cashmere, I stayed for the price. This one is only $19.90 and comes in navy, grey, and black (fun fact: I haven’t worn black since 2003). In other news, did you know that Uniqlo offers extended sizes online? I sure didn’t.
Ok, this one is both plain AND not plain at the same time. Mind blown.
This color has me feeling some type of way.*
*And the way it has me feel is that I need to buy it. So awesome, so autumnal. It’s awesumnal.
ALERT ALERT ALERT: This one can be monogrammed!!
Ok, so there’s a tiny logo on the side. It’s worth it for a designer hat made from luxe Japanese twill.
