Go for the Gold
This summer I returned from my trip to Italy (if you have the chance to go to Il Mezzatorre - do it! It’s expensive but worth it) with two things:
A desire to taste every version of linguini with clam sauce I can find
A desire for the perfect gold bracelet
Guess what? The stereotype is true: Italian guys wear more jewelry than their American counterparts. And guess what? They look fab.
I set out on my search with a little light googling, and I was shocked. Who knew gold was so expensive? Not me! I also knew I need something that would accommodate my large wrists. Nothing feels worse than constricting jewelry.
My search took me to an unexpected place - Macy’s. Now, I love me some Macy’s - especially the flagship Herald Square location here in NYC - but I had never thought of them for jewelry. Turns out they have a great selection of gold bracelets.
After sorting through a bunch, I landed on this one.
It’s a thin, delicate take on a classic style - WITH A 9” LENGTH! Perfect! I wanted it to be loose and able to spin around, and I love it. Best part of all? I was able to catch it on sale for about $500. It’s currently on sale for $540 - cheaper than a night at the Mezzatorre!
