Stationery to Scream Over, Notecards to go to Nuts Over, Paper to Make You Phreak
I’m a stationery freak. I mean to be perfectly honest I’m just a freak in general, but I’ve always loved stationery. And don’t you dare write “stationary” unless you want me to break your fingers one-by-one! Wanna know the secret to remembering the difference between stationery and stationary? Stationery has an “E” for “envelope,” you dummy!
So until you can afford to have some custom Mrs. John L. Strong or Happy Menocal made, the below options are fun and fabulous (like you!).
Connor Emoji Notecard Set - A divine analog counterpart to today’s digital world. Perfect for the avocado toast eatin’, oat milk latte drinkin’ #influencer in your life (also perfect: this hilarious Internet Famous pillow from Jonathan Adler).
Kate Schelter This & That Notecards- Can’t afford one of illustrator Kate Schelter’s divine watercolors just yet? No problem! Scratch your Kate Schelter itch (that sounds obscene) with these gorgeous, thick-ass notecards - at a super affordable price!
Crane & Co Aviator Correspondence Cards - I. Love. These. So. Much. The aviator glasses! The striped lining! The thick, cottony texture of the paper - divine.
Smythson Bee Notelets - Ok, so these are a little pricier. But they’re worth it. And they’re called “notelets” which makes them double worth it. The bee motif is very Gucci, the luxe packaging is very you-cci.
Looking for a less serious option? I’ve never seen a Tayham card that didn’t make me giggle. STILL laughing at one I saw in 2014 with an illustration of the Olsen twins on it that said, “Love ya like a sister.”
Need a place to store all your fabulous new notecards? I wouldn’t say no to this Stationery Box from Scully & Scully!
