Shouterwear
I once read in a magazine that you should spend your time and money investing in a great coat because in the winter you'll wear it every day, and it's the piece that people will see the most. I'm sure when I read it I said to myself something like, "Shut up! Don't tell me how to live my life!" but the truth is - it's good advice. So, I've rounded up a few of my favorite coats and jackets for fall. These are the pieces that'll get you noticed in a sea of black peacoats. Life's too short for a boring jacket!
Asos Fleece Lined Cord Jacket: for porn stars - and you.
I like the 70s porn vibe of this jacket. An autumnal color that both goes with everything and is different from what you already own, pair this jacket with a full 'stache to complete the look (and sign up for Movember while you're at it!).
Levis Quilted Sherpa Shirt Jacket: It's a Shirt, it's a Jacket and I want 'em both
I don't think of Levis for things other than jeans - but that's on me. While cruising around on Amazon I found this bad boy in between like, bulk candy and toilet paper. The contrast shoulders say "buy me" and so I shall.
Olive this one so much.
A classic, day-in day-out workhouse updated in a slightly unusual color. Yes, I know olive green isn't exactly setting the world on fire but it's not navy, grey, or black so chill ok? I would style it just like Old Navy did here and then I'd be a male model.
If it's yellow let it mellow
True or false: when I saw this I let out a gay gasp of pleasure. True, true, true. I LOVE this, and you should too. Cool but wearable, and I guarantee you don't have something this color in your closet yet. 24k gold, baby!
The best things in life are free. The second best are very expensive.
Ok, this one is expensive. I know that. I also know it's awesome. It's a puffer trapped in the body of a classic menswear silhouette (much like me). So cool!
Arctic explorer, reporting for duty.
When you need something a little more hardcore. Or should I say hard Kors? No? Ok, then I won't.
Bomber.com
I love this. It's probably cooler than I am, but that's ok. If blogging has taught me anything, it's that you've gotta get out of your comfort zone to stay fresh. And that people can be mean on the internet.
