My Favorite Products for Pride 2021
Whether you emerge from your home on June 1st as a human rainbow or if you show your #LGBTQ pride all year by rocking a purse like I do (I kid, I kid) it’s never been a better time to show your colors. What’s better than some fierce merch to show how fierce you are? Nothing! Below are my favorite picks of the season:
Saint James Minquiers Pride Rainbow Striped Shirt - Available up to 4XL (a women’s size 20), a portion of this shirt’s sales benefit Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation.
Lego “Everyone is Awesome” Set - I may have been gay since day one, but I am a recent Lego convert (fun fact: the correct term is “AFOL” which stands for Adult Fan of Lego). Nothing would be better than to marry my hobby with my homo.
Jonathan Adler “Pride” Canister - I love Jonathan Adler’s line of iconic Vice Canisters, but there’s obviously not one I love more than this Pride edition. Give one to your most backwards relative and show them that inclusion is always in style.
TOMS Alpargarta Unity - For many years TOMS were my shoe of summer (and sometimes spring and fall, too). This year they’ve updated their classic slip ons for men and women with a sportif rainbow flag. J’adore!
Kind Pride - The granola bars everyone loves, backed up by a campaign that loves everyone. KIND has made a $50k donation to support homeless LGBTQ youth via the Ali Forney Center.
Ralph Lauren Pride Water Bottle - Ralph Lauren, staying hydrated, and supporting the community: three things I love. Luckily this bottle helps me with all three, since its purchase helps support the Stonewall Community Foundation.
JCRT Pride Sling Bag - A graphic take on the traditional rainbow, this fanny pack’s strap adjusts up to 60”.
Starface Rainbow Hydro-Stars - These hydrocolloid patches help shrink your zits - and homophobia, with their donation to the Hetrick Martin Institute.
