Weekly Wants: February 10th, 2019
The stuff I want this week is a real ambrosia - some of it’s great, some of it is embarrassing, but all of it is delicious.
Polo Flag Sweater - Spoiler alert: I will wear this exactly as it’s styled on the RL site - ripped jeans and penny loafers. Get ready, because you’re going to see this on my Instagram A LOT.
Dooney & Bourke Bag - Speaking of things I will wear a lot: I will continue to wear this Dooney & Bourke bag, in both the Chestnut and Red colors. This bag is, literally, what I’ve been searching for for years. Preppy, durable, under-the-radar, affordable, and spacious made from leather that will only get better with age. Obsessed.
Royce Pill Case - The older I get, the more medicine I need to take. And the more forgetful I become, too (do I sound geriatric yet or what?). The solution? This pill case in blue leather holds a plastic pill case with the days of the week on it. Voila - I reliably maintain medicated.
Water Carafe - It has taken me almost 37 years to realize that I get parched at night. This carafe is perfect to hold some water to wet my whistle, and it looks chic on my nightstand. Can’t beat the price, either!
Overose Candle - I admit it: I was #influenced by Instagram into purchasing this candle. When I saw Preston Konrad post it, I had to have it.
Herman Miller Tissue Box - In case you’ve never tried to find a chic horizontal tissue box, let me tell you: it’s hard. It’s the kind of thing that gives you carpal tunnel as you click your way through the internet looking for a version that doesn’t look like it came from an Etsy clearance sale. This is simple, chic, and features nary a crystal embellishment.
Van Cleef Perfume - Van Cleef’s perfume is as pretty and rich as its jewelry (but without the 4-5 (or 6 or 7) figure price. This thing’s so fancy the bottle even wears its own necklace! I don’t like either orchid or vanilla scents, but somehow they combine here into something magical.
