Oh, hi.

Welcome to extraextrastyle, a place for big & tall guys like me to celebrate their love for fashion - and themselves.

Sweaters I'm Sweatin'

Sweaters I'm Sweatin'

Man, I love a sweater.  Which is interesting because I run hot; from May until September I don't leave the house without a hanky (monogrammed, from Barneys Japan) to dab my brow if I get a little dewy.  But from October until April? It's a sea of sweaters. A load of layers.  A kit of knits.

You get the point.

Below are the sweaters I've fallen for this fall.  Some I already own, some are on my radar.  Enjoy!

Lacoste Un Crocodile Sweater

I recently bought this Lacoste sweater; I got a size 9 which Lacoste says is a 4XL.

I bought this sweater recently and wore it today for the first time.  It was love. The only thing I didn't love? People staring at my chest as I walked down the street.  Now I know how women feel.

AEO Shawl Cardigan Sweater

I haven't tried this one on yet, but I normally take a 3XL in AE.

Perfect for chilly nights around a bonfire.  Or, since I live in NYC, chilly nights watching the fireplace on Netflix.

L.L. Bean Norwegian Crewneck

I am usually an XXL at L.L. Bean

The original.  Probably thick.  Maybe itchy. Definitely want it.

Ok, it's expensive.  I know that.  And also maybe wearing a teddy bear on your chest makes you feel like a toddler.  And no - it's not going to be something that you wear all the time.  But when you do wear it, you'll feel like a million bucks.  Or at least $450 bucks.
